Time to Re-Plant The Sweet Pepper
October 16, 2024, Hi, The original plan was to keep the peppers in bags above ground. And it has worked exceedingly well. Now it's time to see if we can re-plant them directly into the soil. So, this morning with Min's help, the sweet pepper was more or less gently taken out of the bag. The roots were freed. A hole was dug. Excellent composed soil was liberally placed into the hole. The sweet pepper was gently placed in the hole and good soil was used to top everything up. Finally, lots and lots of pond water was sprinkled onto the replanted sweet pepper to mate roots to the new soil. We'll give it a week or two and if all goes well we'll replant the rest of the peppers. If it doesn't? We'll try something else! The Green Man
